Spice Up Your Next Gathering With These Great Additions

by Heidi Wheeler

You've probably gotten excited about a party at one time only to find out it was not as fun as you expected. Now it is your time to throw a party and you want to make it something that people will be walking away talking about. There are a lot of components that go into throwing a great party. Whether it is a family reunion or a birthday party, you want it to be memorable and fun.

If you just do the necessity, you can still have a great party, but it won't be as memorable as if you really threw a great bash. By adding some extra additions to your party, you can make it something your guests won't forget:

Photo Booth Rental

A photo booth rental is a great way to give your guests something they will remember at the end of the party. They can have their own memento of the occasion by taking away some great photos with friends and family. When considering whether to rent a photo booth, you must take into account the various expenses. The average rental time of a photo booth is typically 4 hours. If you decide you want to rent the booth for additional hours, you are looking at paying around $100 to $150 each hour. You will also want to make sure the photos are of good quality and there are some props available to make it extra fun.

Candy Buffet

One of the biggest trends in parties nowadays is a candy buffet. Majority of people love candy and it can be a fairly inexpensive treat if you can score the candy in bulk prices. Allowing the guests to make their own candy bags is icing on the cake. You do not need a large space for your candy buffet. All you need is a table, some bowls filled with a variety of candy, and some bags for them to fill up.

You can purchase the bulk candy wholesale for less or at your local dollar store. Usually, candy can be found for less than $70 for 9 pounds. This can also serve as the party favor since they can take their candy bags with them when they leave.

Chocolate Fountain

As if the candy buffet was not enough sugar, you can always add a few chocolate fountains to the mix. These are great centerpieces for your tables. You can get them in white chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate. Many rental companies will allow you to use colored chocolate to match the decor of your party. If you choose a self service option, you won't pay as much as you would if you chose to have an attendant available.
